from birds and blooms magazine online
this article is really great about how to attract different birds to your backyard to get them to eat peanuts and birdseed… i love watching the bluejays and even our one little woodpecker come to get the peanuts.. we have up to 4 bluejays at one time or another on our porch… it’s really great for picture taking too.. especially if you can get a close up.. here’s the link to the article :
So I’m really excited about this pictures that I captured this week…
- the first one is the nuthatch.. he is such a sweet little bird.. he’s too adorable…
- the second one is the red bellied woodpecker.. been waiting for this picture for like ever! he’s totally adorable!
- and last is the chickadee.. this bird.. he pulls at my heart strings… he has this very distinctive call.. sounds like “Hey Sweetie!” .. totally adorable!
caught the best photo ever last week! well. the picture will speak for itself….
(please do not steal my photo.. that would make me unhappy!)
oh mr. cardinal.. you sure are a handsome bird… we really love watching the birds every day.. i make sure i go out as soon as i get up and put the bird seed on the rail.. and then watch and wait for them to show up.. we have all kinds of birds.. cardinals, chickadees, bluejays, and even woodpeckers! they bring such a joy to watch.. and it’s so awesome to know that God created these little babies… each and every one.. brings tears to my eyes.. the same God that created these birds is the same God who loves us so much that he created us so we can accept Him in our lives and live with Him for forever… I just love it!
We’ve been bird watching & bird feeding at our apartment and we have all kinds of birds.. but this bluejay.. it’s probably my second favorite (with owls being 1st) so here is just a sample of the pictures i’ve gotten.. leave me feedback if you would like to see more pictures like this or anything… God Bless!
